[?] HELP! error............

how come when im trying to write something to this html file it keeps saying

First, why isn't this thread in Tech Talk?
Second, are you sure you can get a document object as the immediate child of VideoViewer?

the code i pasted is from the script .. im saying when i receive a youtube thingy it opens up IE to view the video. now i just want to write the code from the script to the file..

in short form:

i want to write to the html file using the script.

Have you tried to save it through a text stream and open it through IE? I gather that is what you are trying to do with the script (or if you haven't, maybe give it a try and just make the extension of the file .html then open the file with IE after closing the text stream of course). I haven't done any work with IE or linking with any other application actually so I'm not entirely sure if there is a better way of going about this.

Also to make your code a little nicer to look at (and easier to write) when wanting to use a quotation (ie " " ) inside another quotation then use ' as the other one instead of " so you on't have to write \" all the time and save yourself a little hassle.
