Hi!

A few months ago, when the msg+ scripts were new, I also wanted to make one. So I created one, using my very basic javascript skills, and googling half of the functions .

So, when my script, StealContact, was finally done, I showed it to some friends, and they liked it. I made one update, wich I submitted to the Msg+ site.

Now, a few days ago I got the email about the contest, and that motivated me to update my script.

Now it's ready, and I submitted it to the website.

Info:

With this script you can steal the DP, Nickname or PSM of your contact.
You can also save your contacts DP in a specified folder.

You can use it by going into the menu of MsgPlus!, or by typing the following commands:
/stealnick - Take over your contacts nickname
/stealpsm - Take over your contacts personal message
/stealdp - Steal your contacts Display Picture
/stealall - Steal your contacts DP, Nickname, and PSM
/savedp - Save your contacts DP in the specified folder
There's also a reset function, this can only be accessed from the menu, not by a command. You can only use this command, when you used "Steal All".

In the MsgPlus! Menu, you can also choose options, where you can define the DP save folder. You can also choose to enable or disable popup notifies when a change is made.

Hello i found an annoying problem you cant save more than one DP from a certain contact, it shouldn't overwrite it should rename to with like (1) or (2) at the end

EDIT: Well i dont know if it should, but it would be a helluva lot better if it did
EDIT 2: Reset didnt work properly after "steal all", my name and personal message remained the same as the stolen one, and my dp returned to the wrong dp

I could fix the first problem, by putting a timestamp behind it or something.

The second problem, that's propably because u used the reset command, after using the stealall command several times :x..

Yeah a timestamp would be awesome and the second one you were right, sorry

how do you get the menu to pop up? I wasn't able to find it and reset my PSM, DP, or nick after I stole all.

(I havnt installed this script)
It should be accessiable from the contacts list window.  Just under your personal message there is a Plus! logo.  Click that and it should be in there somewhere...
