Hey guys, I was wondering where the scheduler that had a little pop up to inform you at a user-set time went. I've looked all over the Messenger Plus Live! for it but can't find it!

It's gone, it wasn't a very popular feature. However I do understand a script was being made for it, however the creator seems to have 'lost' it I'm afraid

Damn, is there any other alternatives people recommend? A simple program without taking too much memory etc

It isn't a Messenger addon though, it runs on its own. It is totally free, small, and highly customizable.

(PS: and some translations of it are provided by people of this forums )

It was me who started making this script before and "lost" it. (It happened when I was experimenting with Vista and ended up having to reformat and I didnt have a backup of it )

However, since then a few people have requested this feature and if nobody else is already making this script, I'll consider starting on it again but I never used the Task Scheduler feature of MP!3 so I don't really know what it did exactly. The only info i could find on it is here so if anyone would provide me a more detailed explanation it would be much appreciated.

Eljay, I'll help you out with it if you want (and might even dob NanaFreak in for doing the windows if you want that too).  I never used the feature either so I'm as good as useless with that part as well.  I think I replied in a thread somewhere that I would attempt this sometime after New Years but if you wanted to work on it too then I'm happy to share.

I used it Really nice to have a dummy program saying "GTFO! Go get wood!"

Some info...

The sheduler was a function of MP!L that you use to remind some stuff you had (select time) to do OR change de MSN status at the time selected...
So you selected a time, selct what to remember (and can use a link) OR what status to change messenger
Note: On the part of status, it showed the WLM status (online, busy.....) and Plus! "Personal" Status (the ones you made)

So here, as I could see on the Eljay's search, the info is more complete... I just added the "note" as I don't remember seeing that part explained...

I hope I could add some new info for you...

But there are more people who wanted the sheduler back (for example... me -> another example).. I think it's a great idea to "re-make" it...
