Use RipIt4Me to rip a DVD. Follow the guides on the site if you encounter any problems.

If you want to burn the DVD you just ripped, use ImgBurn. Same author as DVD Decrypter for people who don't know.

If you want to rip a DVD Video Disc then use a program called DVD Decrypter to gain .vobs then use the Gknot pack to convert the .vobs into smaller .avi files. You will need the DivX or the Xvid codec to convert the files.
