Ok here's my problem.
After my sister recently getting a laptop for christmas we decided to go wireless.
My d-link DSL-G624T wireless router is connected downstairs and both my normal desktop computer and my sisters laptop are running the internet wirelessly. She can log on to WLM fine with no problems however i cannot log on at all! I frequently recieve a 31000306 error or a 31000314 error. I can sign into my hotmail account fine however none of the web clients work either. When using a normal usb modem i have not had this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we seem to be having endless problems with computers currently

EDIT: when i troubleshoot there are no problems found with IP's etc

Do you have Messenger Discovery?

No... and there was nothing in the SOCKS field to start with... there was a number to the right of it though
"1080"

It has to be messenger... as other internet connection required software work fine

Another breakthrough!
It appears to be my email adress not my computer
as my sisters account logs on to my windows live ok... aswell as on her laptop, however, my account will not log on on either computers.
P.S sorry for the wrong title.. i am new to forums and im not aware of the general conduct within them.
