hi. newbie again. have had a history log deleted but need to retrieve it. firstly- is the log deleted when the contact is deleted or does it have to be done manually? also- i have 'found' the deleted file using a file retrieval tool but it does not make sense. cant read it at all. does anyone have any tips please?

No, it doesn't automatically delete when that particular contact is deleted. Deleting logs are done manually.

I dont think you can retrieve it. And no, as xJ+ said it has to be done manually.
