I have 2 msn accounts. My old account works fine, but I have in last week set up a new account with an hotmail.com domain to take advantage of all the features.

This has worked fine until tonight and now I do not seem to be able to sign onto any messenger, remote or web based.

When I try I get error 816000306

I have followed the torubleshoot and all is fine, I have then followed the help pages and reset my SOCK etc... My firewall cant be the problem cause I can still sign on on my other account.

This has been for 2 hours now. Anyone got any ideas or experiencing the same?

SO it could be a server issue their end?

nine times out of ten...probably

i too am having the same probelm and cant find a solution, i restarted the computer and it wont let me, and i took off the modem and put it back on and still nothing

plenty of my contacts on my MSN ain't even online 4 online only

ok so msn is at the moment having some problems

Has been all morning (well for me anyway). Some can sign in and send messages, some can sign in but can't send messages and some can't sign in at all.

So it is at this stage more likely to be server problems

it works now after 5 hours lol

it probably depends where you live as they'll have different servers for what your IP address is or where you live or something.
