O.P. I can only receive messages if they are sent within a minute of mine.
How do I fix it?
Also, no one can start a conversation with me.

Go into MSN Messenger preferences... Then to the messages tab... unselect the "Group sequential messages from each contact together" option...
This should work... but this isn't within a minute... it's when you send/recieve two messages in a row.
EDIT: If no one can start a converstaion with you this all could be a problem with the servers that you might have to wait out...
Just in case make sure your "online" and not "appear offline" or something.

Yeah, my status is set to online... "Groups sequential messages from each contact together" isn't in there though.

That has nothing to do with it, its probably a server problem. You'll just have to wait it out. |

I am experiencing the problem where no one can message me..eg I can message people..but if they are messaging me they receive "The following message could not be delivered to all recipients" and I receive no replies, unless i keep the chat window open...
If i change to another messenger acount everything works ok, but with my usual acount i'm having troubles!!!!
I have also tried the Windows Mobile Messenger software on my PDA and the problem is the same. If i change to another messenger acount everything works fine!!!!
I think this problem is associated with some messenger acounts (is there somenthing going extremely wrong on messenger servers?????) Does any body confirm my theory?

I tried signing in with another account, it works normally... It's too much trouble to add everyone else, how do I fix it so I can go on my main account?

It seems that some MESSENGER servers, that deal with some messenger accounts, are experiencing problems. And guess what?! Our accounts are managed by the server or servers that were afected. It seems that they are trying to solve this problem. For the moment I think the only solution is to create another messenger acount! This problem has started on the beginning of last week and it's still not solved...

PLease don't flood the servers by creating more temporary accounts, that won't solve the server/s problem, that will only create more loads for the server/s.
If you are experiencing such problems, the idea solution will be to report it to the team and wait patiently for it to fix.
it might take forever for the team to fix though, if it's not reproducible. |
