Sure, you've heard of them, and anybody on here knows that they don't really work.

Well how about a script, and what it does, is you type in the email address (on the script interface, not a website) of who you suspect to have blocked you.

That than searches your online contact list for other people WITH the script installed. If the suspected email address is online for another person, than you know you are blocked (or not added, whatever). It's not a definite way to find out if you are blocked, but if it says yes than it is definete.

I don't know about packet sniffing etc, but to me it seems quite easy to make this compared to other scripts on here.

The whole reason why Microsoft has put in such an effort with creating these preventions is so as you cannot invade the privacy of others.  If someone has blocked you then there probably s a good reason behind it and if you have a problem with them blocking you or would like to know, then try emailing them?  Going behind there back will only intensify the situation and make things worse (no matter if they unblock you or not).

The best method in my opinion, is not to need a block checker and try not to get people offside.

This script could work, but how do you suppose it tests to see if your contacts have this script enabled?  There are a number of flaws anyway.  Good idea, but not entirely practical.

Is not correct ....It works only if the concact allowed to show his status to all users...If you go on msn options------>privacy you can select in a allowed list all other users(i don't know if is the correct translation)but if you select  all other users in a block list no one who is not your contact will be able to see you...to allowed to show your status to everybody you can also uncheck the checkbox above the list......Greetings

Not this conversation again all over . Blockcheckers DO NOT WORK... they used to work years ago... since Microsoft fixed their protocol it is impossible to get any accurate result from blockcheckers... You might as well throw a coin and base somebody's status on that.

See Block checkers DO NOT work

msnfanatic.com's checker is no exception (there are no exceptions). Just checked my own address and it says I'm offline while I'm actually signed in and online.

True, but even then it doesn't mean people could say a blockchecker works. By default Messenger accounts have "all other users" on their blocklist, so on the most accounts a blockchecker will just never work to begin with. And there is no way to verify if a user is really offline or is the user just has "all other users" on the blocklist, making it totally unreliable.
