Has anyone else noticed problems with Evo while using another skin on Windows? My main window won't load, my pop up doesn't work, my converstation window doesn't load, ... .

Check if you are running 8.0. From what I have read WLM pops up every now and then for you to upgrade, it might have updated itself which is causing the problem.

I recommend going into the control panel and repairing the WLM installation if all else fails.

Check if you are running 8.0. From what I have read WLM pops up every now and then for you to upgrade, it might have updated itself which is causing the problem.

I recommend going into the control panel and repairing the WLM installation if all else fails.

So if I understand correctly I first need to install WLM 8.0 instead of the update and then apply the Evo messenger?

yes thats exactly right to be a bit more specific 8.012 is most suitable thats the last build made for 8.0

The skin is only compatible with 8.0.x

It is NOT compatible with 8.1.x.

If you try to install it with 8.1.x you will have issues such as the exe not loading or the main window not showing.

Please wait for an update... which reminds me that I need to fix up the installer so that it stops people from installing on newer builds... unless we clear it...

When its ready.

Well I think its about time I speak out on an ETA on an 8.1 release.

First of all I have built the core part of Ev0 which is the skyblue theme. All that remains is the creation of the others and new features I plan to add. The installer needs to also be remade to cater for this.

This could take a between 2-3 weeks (don't hold me to that, it could be more but then again it could be less) because of my studies starting once again. Please don't go around asking "Is it ready yet" because that just irritates seeing hundreds of people ask that same question to me over and over again.

Rest assured this skin will launch fairly soon and it will be better than the original.
