O.P. Show status only to select contacts

I was wondering if the possibility to make a script that would only show your status to only a select few contacts is anywhere near "possible".

My goal is to always show as Away to those people who won't stop bothering me (people who I can't really block either for various reasons), and I don't want to be Away "officially" so to speak.

No, this is not possible. A status is global, for all contacts. The best alternative you have is blocking those contacts.

I was thinking maybe more of a faked thing, but I guess that's not possible. Also I noticed this was brought up before:
