bah, For some reason Last night vista stopped sending any sounds. At first i thought "well, wtf.. oh well, will be fixed next reboot"
But now i have Tried rebooting several times, changing the ports the speakers in, and un-pluging/re-pluging the speakers mains socket. Still no good.
Anybody know of any resolution to the sound problem? or any good sound drivers that will work on vista?

-Windows vista Ultimate
-and some really old TINY speakers (if anyone really remembers them )

EDIT I also just noticed that music wont even attempt to play i n foobar

Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers. (And check to see if there are any Vista specific drivers for them.)

1. Tiny went out of business years ago, i need new speakers
2. i never installed the drivers for them in the first place anyway, and they worked on a clean install of vista up untill now..

you can't get speaker drivers, he meant soundcard drivers

Ohhh, i wondered why that sounded wrong
Is there anyway i can find out what make my sound card is without opening the PC?

WINKEY - Break (opens System applet) hardware tab > Device manager. Find Audio devices, hopefully your sound card will be there

So what would i google for the drivers? i've tried a few times, and nothing relovant comes up :/

Try disabling it and enabling it again, i had a similar problem on my old PC...
