Recently got a new pc with vista on it and i cant log into Windows Live Messenger because Data Execution Prevention has stopped it from working and I cant seem to get around this problem and have been using Web messenger which is very basic! Please help

Not sure exactly because I'm not running Vista, but have you allowed to run in Windows Defender?

Am not running windows defender and it still doesnt work! Just got a new pc on thurs with vista on it and havent been able to run it yet, really annoying!

try this for me, Open Windows Live Messenger ( right click on it )  an choose Run As Administrator
