Everybody here probably knows the feature to not show 'contact says:' on every message sent. It stopped working since I upgraded to Vista. I triple checked if the settings were ok. I'm not sure if it's Plus! related. Does someone have the same problem.

I'm using Windows Vista Business
Windows Live Messenger 8.1.0178.00
Messenger Plus! Live 4.20.0.262

I've searched on the Internet but no results.
I've posted this on the Dutch forums but there was no reaction yet and now the forums seem to have some MySQL problem.

Have you tried reinstalling WLM, because the only difference between you and me is I have Vista Ultimate

Reinstalling WLM doesn't do the job. Does anyone know if there is some sort of registry key for this?
Also, the problem is not Plus! related

Well then, have you tried a complete uninstallation?

Do you have StuffPlug installed and have customised timestams enabled? If so then do you use seconds in it aswell? If yes then don't show says after message is useless as the seconds change every second and Messenger doesn't sow sats only if the Contact says above the message is just like it would be on the next one.

It has nothing to do with Plus! or stuff-plug. I don't have stuff-plug installed and the problem still occurs when Plus! isn't loaded.
Clean reïnstalling didn't to it either. I guess I'll have to live with it.
