Hi,

I've been using Windows Messenger for the past couple of weeks, because MSN Messenger 7.5 has a problem.

I can load it up quite quickly, I get to the sign in screen and I can enter 1 letter into the email address bar, and then it freezes. About 30 seconds or so after that it unfreezes, allowing me to type 1 more letter into my email address bar and then freezing for good, crashing back to the desktop.

I can never type in more than about 2 or 3 letters without it crashing.

I suspect it is a RAM problem, but I would like to know if there is something else causing it before I consider getting a RAM upgrade.

It cannot be a RAM problem because i have the same problem on the school computers, and they all have a minimum of 2gig ram Try Windows Live Messenger and see what happens
