Download Script Here

Sorry to all those who have had problems with my script - the problem was due to the DLL not being automaticaly registered and that was due to an error in the Scripting Documentation.

But it has now been fixed and the documentation will hopefully be fixed soon aswell.

No real modifications or updates to the functionality have been made in this version as its perfectly adequte for what I want it to do. However, if you have a feature you would like to request, please email me and if I think its worth it, I will add it.

So if you have this script and got it working by registering the DLL yourself, there is no reason to update to 3.0.

To any other script developers such as Matt Labrum (-dt-) If you would like to add this to your Music Now Playing script or use the DLL, please do!

well, the dll isnt powerful enough (and you could also implement that in pure jscript with Interop.Call btw)

the functions you have to implement are shown here

The dll is powerful enough for what I wanted.

I wanted to display the track I was listening to in RealPlayer, not the name of the cousin of the producer of the track I'm listening to :P If you want to implement those things then feel free to use my stuff, if not then I really don't care either way.

This wasn't really meant to sound aggressive :)

Could you describe your problem more?
Do you have Messenger Plus! Live installed?
Is the script shown as running on the scripts tab?

Hi I'm having a problem importing your script into messenger plus (version 4.11.0.254) in messenger 8.1.
I'm using windows vista if that has anything to do with it I don't know.

All I recive is a non-spefic error saying an error occured while attempting to import your script files *shrugs*.

ps. I can import other scripts.

Ignore this works it out after reading other posts that version 4.20 is needed using vista to import this script
