Could you please tell me how i can give my nickname a colour?

Tools > Options > General > Format codes

if you got MSN+ you can do as DUCK! said
If you dont got msn+ than you cant change the color of the nick

you can change the colour of your nickname but you cant see it, only the people with Messenger Plus! Live can

isn't it something like:-

[a=red][c=white]<text>[/c][/a]

EG:
[c=4]<text>[/c]     (4 = red)

For MP! 3.63 and lower, you will have to open a conversation window, and type: /nick <nickname>
Within <nickname>, include your desired screenname, and press Ctrl-K. A popup with various colours will appear to choose a colour.
