I've tried everything! (well, everything I know..)

- Tried uninstalling on Control Panel
- Tried deleting the folder
- Tried installing new version so it would overwrite it..
- Tried to go in safe mode

None of the above worked.

For all of them I got a message similar to:
This patch could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer patch package.

The version is Adobe Reader 7.0.8

I'm using Windows XP SP2.

I can't remember when this started happening, but its been a long while.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Unable to uninstall the acrobat reader?
It happened to me too.
Today I found the "Revo Uninstaller"
The only thing I can say to it is: "Try it".
It removes even the rust from your harddisk I think.

By the way: let me know about your success.
