What do you mean by automatically? When you start the computer? When you open some program?

I don't fully understand your question, but if your wanting WLM to sign in automatically when an internet connection is present you could do the following:

• Tools
  
• Options
  
• General
  
• Allow automatic sign in when connected to the Internet

Nop, soz, that's not what I meant...

I wondered if it's possible/will become possible to, for example, set a timer to automatically sign you out (or in) after a set time - similar to the way that you can set your status to 'Away' after 10 mins or whatever...?

I can't bother to search at the moment, but I know that there are already dedicated Messenger Plus! scripts/snippets which can do this.

There are also some schedular scripts where you can use commands.

And there is also the Exit Messenger script which I once made which extends the use of the /Signout command with a delay (made because of the exact same request someone once made).
