I don't know if anyone's fixed/explained this. I haven't been able to have it work for G-mail. I've set the server to any number of things, and it's just not working. I am about to cry. Please, save me Superman, or anyone else around here.

EDIT: I've tried grabbing the script, and it also doesn't work. WOE!

Tried that. I still get the server error.

if you want Gmail checker, why not use the Firefox's Gmail Notifier

or better yet, Download Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 an configure your Gmail in there, , no need for a script or an extension

It started working, amazingly. I use Thunderbird, but I like the popup notifying me when I have new email. Gmail checker won't open it in Thunderbird, and the one in Plus! seems to take a while to notice the mail (3 minutes between cycles?) anyways, at this point I'm nitpicking, but thanks for your help everyone.
