So, my mom got a new laptop today. Of cource it has vista.
The person at the store said it would take 6-8 hours to set up, took me only one.
I want to use the recovery disk to install vista on the other compuer
Thing is, we only get recovery discs if we got them to set it up.  I know you can make recovery disks with some systems, but I can't seem to find it on here.
It is an acer with Vista Home Premium.  If anybody has an acer laptop or knows how to make one, please help, I already have the rep window open

I think your license only counts for one computer.

I have an Acer laptop, but I got them to make the recovery disks

Well yes, OEM ones are, and since he didn't get any disks or anything I assume he got an OEM version..

I did get an OEM, so I suppose I can't really do much.

oem keys work on other installations.... at least with xp
