I've looked and please excuse me if there is one, but I couldn't find it. What I'm looking for is something like what you can do in AIM. Ya know.. "hey check out this link" and link would actually say link, and you can click on it, and have it send you to the url.

That would be to easy to do malicious things with, you could send Hey check out: www.MsgPlusLive.net

So that's why it's not possible.

urls can be so long. it's annoying to enter that into a chat. humbug!
