RE: Core 2 Duo ?
Intel Duo processors I believe out perform AMD any day. Intel have really hit a brake-through with this technology .

Well I'm glad it was said because my computer and my dads computer both are AMD's, so from now on I'll make sure the processor is from Intel

RE: Core 2 Duo ?
Erm, just to point out, that Intel Core 2 Quad processors are out. These aren't really 4 individual cores, they're two dual cores running in tandem. It's hard to explain. Anyway SEE HERE for the current top of the line Intel processor. (I wants me one, but for a full system it's like 6 months pay ).
You may also notice that AMD processors aren't really clocked above 3.0GHz either. It's something to do with not being able to send impulses any faster, or something.

Heh, that's cool. Don't think I need one that fast though, I'm sure a Inten Core 2 Duo will be fine, won't it? I'm not doing any extreme gaming or anything.

Lies, AMD's offerings kicked Intel for awhile, but now with C2D Intel is defiantly back on top.
