O.P. [Request] Random chat-only name
Hello folks..
Everybody knows the function 'Chat-Only name' in Stuffplug right?
Can someone create a script that can make a random chat-only nickname?
Something like this; http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/40-NickChange/ .. but then as chat-only..

example:
code:
wudda says:
hello
someone else says:
hi
wudstikky says:
everything ok?
someone else says:
yeaaa.. u?
wudstikk says:
me to.. thanks!
someone else says:
aight
wud says:
lol

Sorry for my bad english.. Hehe..

Personally, I don't think this would be possible or would require alot of knowledge of how things are sent to the server etc.

You could try asking TheSteve or CookieRevised, they know quite alot about this soughta thing.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't really know what I was saying :$

actually this is very easy with Stuff Plug 3 (as stated in the first post)

you just have to change a registry setting (the stuff plug "chat only name" one, can be found if you search) before the message is sent to the contact ;)

I think it be best to ask for such a thing over at the Stuffplug forums, esp. since Plus! is no longer needed to use Stuffplug. In my opinion it's not a good idea to write scripts that depend on another add-on beeing installed to work.

An upcoming feature of Stuffplug is scripting, see Stuffplug - Introduction And Upcoming Features. So if not in the program itself it might be done in a script.
