Can this messenger plus set my status to be offline at specific time? I want to automatic set my status to be offline at midnight.

Assuming you mean Messenger Plus! Live, the default program does not have this feature, though it sounds doable as a script.

I am not sure about Messenger Plus (which is used for MSN and Windows Messenger), as I have not used it for a zillion years.

I want to set my MSN Messenger as "away" on all time, and set "offline" on midnight time 10pm - 8am. Cos my computer online almost a day. I though the software have this function but i only can see away and buzy.

isn't there a script that signs you out after you have been idle for so long?

Assuming you're talking about Messenger Plus! Live (always provide enough details when asking for support ), you can use the Reminder+ script for this:

Make two alarms: one which triggers each day at 10pm and sets your status to 'appear offline', and one which triggers each day at 8am which sets your status to 'away'.


I also recommend using the Remember Status script. This script makes sure that you will always sign in with the same status you've used when you last signed out. This is handy for when your Messenger goess offline for some reason (connection lost, etc):
