Shoutbox

Well i was using firefox and i noticed that i couldnt see any of my bookmarks just bellow the adress bar, so i looked at my bookmarks and i realised there was nothing there. i tried to restart firefox but no success. i also tried searching the forums to find an answer but nothing worked, i coulnt even get the profile manager to come up, it just kept coming up with my homepage. could some1 help me plz

Those buttons (the ones below the address bar) would be located in

Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar Folder
               in the top menu.


If they can't be found there, I'm not sure what has happened to them.

have a look and see if they are in C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows User Name here>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<something here>.default\bookmarkbackups

you can even use one of the backups to restore your favourites.

i was able to restore my bookmarks using MattyRid's method, but unfortunately ther wer no recent saves so i lost ALOT of bookmarks .

Have you tried going back to your default profile?
