Can someone make, or direct me to, a script that make the nickname editing exactly the same as the PSM... i.e. click and type???

I don't think click-and-type would be handy, because mostly when you click a contact in the contact list you want to select it. And by the way, there's already a built-in F2-shortcut for nickname editing! Simply select the contact and hit F2.

Side note: F2 is the Rename File shortcut in Windows Explorer, so it's quite obvious Microsoft chose it as Rename Contact shortcut.
