im using live notifier right now but it only works if the person trying to talk to u has msn 7.5 or lower. It doesn't work for live messenger is there something that  will definetly work for live messenger that will show me a notification that the person has started a conversation with me? thnx

Conversation notifiers are NOT ACCURATE! You cannot trust them.

Anyway, you could try MessengerDiscovery Live, not quite sure though if it still has this feature since I have not used it for a long time :/

EDIT: The feature is still there. Settings > Alerts > a conversation connection is requested.

i tried dling it but my avg scanner says theres a trojan virus thing o.0

i dled it anywayz but now it won't even open says access denied.

It used to have an optional sponsor but now it doesn't...

The only thing I can really tell you to do is to un-install AVG or to make a thread in the forums
