I just now upgraded to Windows Live Messenger and the corresponding version of Plus! I had all my contacts set up with nicknames before and now I've lost all those nicknames. Is there a way to get them back? I know that they exist in the Windows registry, but how the heck to I get them to be recognized by Plus! Live?
Too bad he didn't build in something to convert the nicknames from MP!L to WLM during installation. If I'd known (I should have read up on it) I would have stuck with the old MSN and Plus!.
