This script is in response to this post: Word filter

The script filters out any unpleasant words that are sent or received to/from the user. it comes with a list of words so that it can be used immediatly without having to add your own. However, that is easy to do just by clicking in the menu and typing away, no editing of external files! You can also use the menu to check which words have already been banned.

It also includes the option to turn all the characters in the curse word to asterisks, or whether to leave the first letter.

How about adding a simple feature to allow messages sent by the user to not be censored and in the add window, how about swapping around the add and close button (if you think its worth it)?

And also, in the scripts preferences window, the title appears as Anto-Curse.

I like the idea, but you'd need some kind of encryption and decryption algorithm to store the options without making them visible for the regular user of the computer. Don't know much about such stuff, but it might be worth the effort.

a database manager which allows you to add/delete stuff would be good (not that I give a S**t about filtering out my f**ks)

ehm.. I created i script that filtered words (never released) and i most say that my was better.. u havent so many options like activat send or recived messages and the worst...your script dont works but you have more words

question: can i take your words and add in my script? need some more words

my script was called "bad word filter" but i renamed it to AIOS.

it doesn't work if you send messages between 2 accounts of the same computer

Another option to add would be maybe an option to choose the formatting of the censored words.
