I would like to know if I it is legal to use scripts in a commercial product?

You'll have to contact the script developer. So if you tell us what script it is we can tell you how to contact the person, or maybe look it up yourself.

Though I don't think its illegal if you use them, since they're not copyrighted or anything.. but it would be the right thing to ask the developer.

It is legal as long as the script is in the public database on the site. All these scripts are supposed to be free for redistribution as long as they are not modified. That being said, it would probably be a good thing to contact the developer of the script first, if possible, to let him know about it.

I am sorry for not being understood. I am the developer and I would like to combine the program (Messenger Plus) + script (written by me/any of my workers) in a commercial product I have.
Is this Legal?

Yes, you are allowed to send Messenger Plus! to your contacts as the software is entirely free. Messenger Plus! is a freeware, which means that you can redistribute it to whoever you want, directly or indirectly, as long as you distribute the original setup package as downloaded from this web site (and not some of its files separately). If you want to promote the software on your web page, banners can be found here. If you want to include the software in a magazine or a public CD, you are also free to do so without asking for my permission, although, I'd like to know about it if possible (just notify me by making a post on the forum).

In short: you may not modify the setup of Plus! to include your script and sell it.

Hen: you are absolutely free to redistribute your own scripts along with Messenger Plus!. All you need to do is use the "/Silent" switch of Messenger Plus!'s setup to install it on your users' computers with your own installer.

When doing such a thing, you just need to clearly specify in your setup that you are the developer of the scripts and that Messenger Plus! is a separate product that you're not affiliated with.
