O.P. Hotmail Live mailbox
If I upgrade my Hotmail mailbox to Live Hotmail do I have to do it again when logging in on another computer?

RE: Hotmail Live mailbox
No, once it is done it is permanent. From that point on you will only have the choice of Classic view and the new view.

Maybe, but it's probably down the bottom somewhere underneath an ad, in 1pt Comic Sans

I guess there's an option to use a non-AJAX interface, but not that old interface of msn hotmail.

I thought you could but I can't find the link. It's not worth it anyway because all old Hotmail is going to be changing to Windows Live Hotmail very soon.

Yep, they call it Classic View. It used to have a bunch of functions missing, but it's half-decent now. The ajax interface only works in Internet Explorer and Firefox I think.
When I switched to Windows Live Mail, I had the option to switch back. I don't know if it's still there, but I expected to have it still.

After the managed beta ended, that option was removed. There wouldn't be a use for it anyways, every user is going to be forced to migrate to the new version in the coming weeks .
