Everytime I log off from WLM, and logg back in again, my name always changes to the previous one... or more exactly the one on halloween (Wednesday)... Why is this happening?
Probably a corrupted cache. You can fix this by deleting the two contact caches (folders) corresponding with your
passport in the following folders (exit messenger first):
WinXP: %userprofile%\contacts
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts
Vista: %userprofile%\contacts
%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts
After that messenger will take a bit longer to log in, this is normal as it has to get all your info from the server.
