O.P. [Request] mail notification when busy
Hi

i have this and i think it maybe fairly easy, but i now nothing about scripting so i may be terribly wrong

i was wondering if someone can make a script that would show a toast for new mail when on busy status.

msgplus has a set of notifications for contacts, and an option to show the toasts even when busy, i want that but for new maill too.

is this possible?

thanks

Well I know that if you are checking a POP3 email account with Plus! it will ALWAYS show a toast when there are new emails (something that I don't agree with :P) but if you are refering to the likes of your hotmail emails then I'm not so sure, there may be something but that would require a more advanced scripter and making sure that toasts can be shown even when busy in your preferences.  You could always just use a different status as another option, but I don't think you really want to.... :P

No, I'd like to perform a function when I recieve an email from hotmail, because it's the only one I use.
*Realises Plus! POP3 checker would work better than Outlook"
Might be about to change that, but if theres a way to detect when an email is recieved, (even some round-about hack) then it would be possible to do the mail notifications, right?  Anyone have a clue?
