Hi there...

When I hit the above keys, I'll get a list of messages I typed previously. Is there anyway I can turn off this function as I use this key strokes for highlighting the entire sentence.

I remember I can disable this function but I can't seems to find it now.

Slight correction.

Ctrl+Up does it. No need for Shift

As for disabling it.

On the Contact List

Plus > Preferences

Conversation >

Uncheck "Enable Quick access to the previously sent messages with Ctrl+Up......"

Thanx so much for your prompt reply. I followed your instructions and can't seems to find the option. My screen seems a little different from yours. I'm running on version 4.23

Is there anything wrong with my MsgPlus? How come the option is not available to me? See screen shot as attached.

Whoa my bad, I'm using a Beta version of MP!L (settings have changed) .

If you can't seem to find it. It must not be there .

The next version of Messenger Plus! Live (one I'm using) will be out within 2weeks or so, will have an option to disable it .

(I am not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure this Disable option was just introduced, and does not exist in the current public release ....99.5% sure ?)

if you want to highlight an entire sentence then just use shift and up/down.....there's no need for Ctrl really

This is strange, becos the one I used at home does not have this issue, somehow I disabled it before. Anyway, since the new version will have this function, I shall wait then! =)

For now I'll try to stick to Shift+Up/Down like wat others suggested!
