Well it is a holiday weekend for everyone at Microsoft, so hopefully it will launch next week sometime .

Hopefully I will get that e-mail too, I was part of the beta testing for Windows Live Messenger 8.0 and 8.1 on Microsoft Connect as well I was beta tester for the MSN/Yahoo interoperability

Btw, will this version or the new verison of plus be compatible, or is it already compatible?

You know, Patchou has to get hands on the new version, and before that nobody can tell you if it will work. Btw, the beta hasn't started yet, only the invites have been sent already.

Not true, 'Butterfly' Testers have instant-access to it already.

Invitation beta has not started yet though
