Wil Messenger Plus! Live 4.50 be compatible with the new WLM 9.0?

look at every other one... plus 3.xx didnt work with the wlm 8.0 betas... and wlm9 is having a heap of changes to its API and that =\

There may be a chance it will work, like it did to 8.5, we'll just have to wait and see.

9.0 is beta. beta changes. So if it was it would have to be updated all the time..

The beta hasn't even started yet ...

Messenger Plus! will work on Windows Live Messenger 9, when Patchou releases an update (if it's not working already).

NanaFreak: I think there's a new API, that doesn't mean the old API is changed/removed. It's possible though.

Patchou said it wont. Not until wlm 9 gets to beta at least i suppose, it doesnt make sense to make it compatible with a program that hasnt even been released as an alpha version

And anyway, Patchou probably has it only start up with version 8.x so that if there was to be a problem then Plus! wouldn't start.  Patchou is not silly and always makes sure that his releases work perfectly for what they are set out for and makes sure they are thouroughly tested with the version before release.

Also the protocol and engine have probably changed enough to cause problems with plus! (they seem to do that with every new major build) so I would presume that the same would be happening here.
