You can wait till a public beta is out for Windows Live Messenger (if they decide to make one). I don't know I'm not a beta tester of either but at this time you can not beta test any of them.

Because they only let in trusted testers who will do the job, not leak information, and.. well.. do the job. This is mainly the same with Messenger plus! live and the WLM betas, only M$ always have idiots who leak the product and patchou has a much better understanding of the people who he chooses to become beta testers.

There aren't 5000 people beta testing Plus! either though. If there were, Patchou would also have a hard time 'screening' and knowing each individual guy/girl in person I think.

But yeah, MS can take some other measures to prevent, or at least minimalize leaks....

(doesn't mean people should be leaking because "it will leak anyways". That's just lame and pathetic).

Just the perfect words to describe this kind of people...

I would suggest WLM 9 team to suspend the current beta
and release a polished version of the WLM 9 client after a few days
and make sure that Sign-In restrictions are in place i.e the
messenger client should allow only Beta participants to sign in with
the version 9.0.

They've done a similar thing before, and it got cracked right through anyway.
