Its actually Windows Live Messenger, and Messenger Plus! Live 4.50 for Windows Live Messenger 9.0 comes out this weekend. Check back Saturday or Sunday.

I wouldn't advise doing this, just wait the one or two days until the official release. Patchou has fixed/improved a lot of compatibility issues in 4.50 with Windows Live Messenger 9.0.
