AFAIK, IE is a core program in Windows, meaning you can't remove it.
If you use IE7, I do know that it's listed in Add/Remove in the Control Panel, but removing IE7 will only reinstall IE6.

Nah, theres way to make a fake IE that will have the stuff thats needed for other things to run and thats it. I can't do without windows live messenger so i won't bother again. thanks
