Hi.

Since Messenger Plus became Messenger Live Plus, I've been waiting for the Quick icon panel to get bigger. Alot bigger. As it is now, it's an endless scrolling if you have lots of emoticons.

Even in the setup of panel sections, the panel is bigger than the one you get when typing "(" in a chat.

It would be great if the user could change the size of the panel somehow. Even if it's still just a fixed window, but by pixel x pixel or "small, medium, large" in the setup or something.

What do you think?

I'll add an option for that if you want in the next version

Personally I think an option to resize it might be very nice.

However, you can already display a lot of emoticons on one panel.
And you can create many panels (that's what they are there for).

Even adding a few sets of alphabets can be done in just 1 panel. So I also don't see how the quick icons toolwindow is too small, provided you do use seperate panels to order your emoticons in categories of course, instead of adding 3000 icons in one panel....

CookieRevised: I only see 40 emoticons at once. That means I have to scroll around alot to find what I'm searching for. I don't order my emoticons in categories.

i personally stoped to use quick emoticons panel because i was to lazy to scroll down

1. Bring up the panel
2. Chose the right category
3. Find the icon in question

That's why I don't organize them. I want to just bring up the panel, quickly find the one I want, and get on with the chat. Just need a better overview

hmmm... good point...

But it takes even more time to scroll down thousands of emoticons as you stated

Chrono: As it is now, yes. That's why I need a bigger panel. The panel is only 236x148 pixel. My screen resolution is 1680x1050!

...and I only have about 500 emoticons. It's still a pain to scroll through them.
