Dear all,

My "gear" is:
XP SP2
IE7
Messenger Live 8.5.1302.1018
Plus 4.23.0.276

After I installed Plus, I lost all messenger sounds (message notfications, calls). The screen doesn't even squeezes when I ask attention to all participants on conversation (don't know if this is the correct translation, i use it in portuguese...sorry...). More, I can't get ney email notifications (the ones that appears on the right side of task bar).

What can I do?

click your name  in the contacts list(which brings down the drop-down menu), go to options, alerts and sounds, are the checkboxes unticked?

Yes, it's all checked.

Uninstall WLM via Add/remove programs. Then reinstall WLM. Make sure it is completely shut down. Remember to also check sys tray! When your sure it's not running reinstall Plus! Live as well.
