Hi there,

I am running
MSG Plus! Live 4.50.0.310 and
WLM 8.5.1302.1018 on an
Windows XP Professional SP2 - Build 2600.xpsp_sp2 machine.

Problem #1
I have started using the new skins feature, with transparency, and have noticed that when you hover over a contact, or icon, and the tooltip is supposed to appear, it will appear BEHIND everything that is transparent (see attached images..)


It also does this in contact windows, when I am talking to someone.

Problem #2
The quicktexts feature doesn't seem to work propery anymore. The first time you do it in a chat window, the names come up fine. The second time, no matter what my name is, it will change it to a ">". And does it until you close that window. Not a biggie, but it is a little annoying. Screenshot is coming.

So, if someone could please let me know what's going on, much appreciated. I guess its not much of a biggie, but the tooltip one is quite frustrating.

I love the software, and will continue to use it.

Might this be because of a bad skin? In that case it is not much Plus! can do about I think.

I can't confirm these bugs using no skin, nor can I confirm it using the skins already available...

hMMM thats interesting to know. The skin is featured on the featured list..I'll try it without and see what happens. Did you also turn transparency on to around 10%-15%?

the tooltip that appeasr behind the main window happens to me too, and i use no skins, only lastest wlm and mp!
it happens sometimes, not always, dont know of what it depends, i always thought it was a wlm bug

those cases are Windows small bugs. That's something different as to what is happening to owenw I think.

I've tryed it with the original skin (unmodified), so everything is original, except i LEFT transparency on. Same results. It must be something to do with the method used to create the transparent effect.

I have attached another screenshot to show this, and will post again, to show my current transparency options

And heres the second screen shot.

Also, please note that the skin i was using is called Nightfall.
