here is my Summertime Skin



this skin is pending approval for the skins database however you can download the skin from the attachment in the mean time.

any problems or suggestions please let me know, below is a list of what i have done.

• changed background for login window/ contact list/ convo window
  set background of word wheel
  set background for dashboard and toolbars in contact list
  set background for dashboard and toolbars in convo window

i hope you all enjoy my skin however please note its only compatable with Windows live Messenger 8.5.

the only reason some dont work with messpatch is cause those particular skins actually use custom icons on the toolbar buttons, i have attempted changing any icons in this version so yes its messpatch compatable.

i found it doesn't like messpatch  here, also, like duck live, it moves the contact search bar to the bottom

It might already be an option enabled in duck! live?

yes this skin and duck live do move the word wheel to the bottom of the contact list, in a future release like is planned for duck live i hope to give users the option of choosing where the word wheel is located, i essentially know how to implement most of that change now, well except for how to get the options panel to know which resgroup to use based on the status of a checkbox, i can probably get the colour reference i need for the new images from mousymoo i just need help with the options panel if anyone knows how to helkp with this id be very happy to add this functionality.

EDIT:

i tried writing an options panel but it stops my skin from working, i guess it will take several months before i add an option to chooose location of word wheel.

damn that's too bad, stuart
