I'm not sure what you mean. Converting the image to PNG will not add gradients, shadows, or any content to the image. You will see the same thing, but it's compressed therefore smaller.

Anyway, here you go.

Thanks, but I needed it to look like the usertile border (with shadow).

Sorry :/

I don't know of any program that can handle 32bit bitmaps, so i'll keep looking around.

There's no real standard interpretation for 32 bit- the alpha channel could be the first or the last channel! In fact, this is a known problem when working with different image libraries. Anyway, for image conversion you can't really beat image magick. Worth a look at least.
was put impeccably into words at DebianDay for me last Saturday, by Knut Yrvin of Trolltech - adults try something once, fail, and then are like "ffs this doesn't work". Children try, fail, and then try again, and succeed - maybe on the second, or even fifth retry. But the thing is that they keep at it and overcome the problems in the end.
