Hi, there seems to be a problem with my WLM 9...

I have plus 4.50 installed aswell.

The problem is this:

Everytime i login to my account, for example, i see 2 new e-mails..
I go check those e-mails, and once i've checked those e-mails, the counter on WLM should say 0 because there are no new e-mails, but no, it keeps on saying i have 2 new e-mails.

So what i have to do is, logoff my account and login again and it will be back to 0.

What may be causing this problem?

Are you using windows live mail? I think there was something in the official beta newsgroups if you use the search function.

Yes i'm using live hotmail...

I used the search function but i only found a thread talking about this issue but in the end they said it was ok again, which is not...

Hope theres a fix for this soon...

It's a server related issue, which fixes itsel sometimes and breaks the next minute . The team is investigating .

It doesn't matter if you're using WLMD or WLMail, the counter in Messenger itself is wrong .

I have experienced this problem when I moved some e-mail messages from one folder to Inbox folder or vice versa via Windows Live Mail program (note that I pressed on "Send/Receive" button on the program but it didn't help and I also checked my account on a web browser but it was still different from the Messenger's e-mail count). I could update the count on Messenger only when I refreshed my session like rainbow said.
