hi, i downloaded the latest version of msgplus live, but it's not working, i have windows vista home premium, is there any other version for vista or i have to change something in the properties of the msgplus.exe

The latest version of Messenger Plus! Live (4.50) works with Vista as it is. What version are you trying to install, what version of Windows Live Messenger do you have and in what way is it not working?
Someone else reported this problem. Can you try installing old 4.23 version? (I don't know where you can find that version online but if you send a private message to me with your e-mail address in it, I can send it to you.)
That's strange, my laptop uses Vista Home Premium (I plan to rip it out soon) and Plus! 4.50.312 just fine. Is there anything that might be blocking it from running?

i have windows live messenger 8.5, and i installed msgplus 4.23, when i exit windows live, the plus! disappeared from the menu bar. so when i have to open the windows live messenger i have to run the msgplus! setup again, so what is the problem???????
Right click the icon and "run as administrator" when installing - also go the properties and find the compatibility tab and run in "compatibility for XP (sp2) mode.
Although the computer tells you you're administrator of the computer, you're not. The true administrator account is disabled by default - if you'd like to know how to enable it - then please ask
