Mine is about 3 weeks:
Intel Core2Quad Q6600
2GB RAM
Windows Vista Ultimate
It has an on-board video card because there was no good card when I bought it. Soon I'll buy one, probably a GeForce 8800GT 512MB.

My laptop is 6 or so years old.
IBM Thinkpad T20
Debian GNU (with the Hurd on GNU Mach)
Intel Pentium III 800 MHz, 256 MB ram,
s3 savage graphics, with 8 MB on board
12 GB HD that needs to be replaced :)

My desktop is 17 years old.
Apple Macintosh LC
System 7.something (Will install GNU/Linux on it one day :P)
Motorola 68020 @ 16 MHz
4 MB ram
18 GB SCSI HD
OMGWOW colour graphics
Still needs PDS Ethernet card!
was put impeccably into words at DebianDay for me last Saturday, by Knut Yrvin of Trolltech - adults try something once, fail, and then are like "ffs this doesn't work". Children try, fail, and then try again, and succeed - maybe on the second, or even fifth retry. But the thing is that they keep at it and overcome the problems in the end.

If I could change it, I'd have got a Quad core and also a different graphics card (nvidia).
