Can you go these addresses on your computer. If you signed in Messenger on your computer, one of the folders' name must be your e-mail address.

Off topic: How do you forget your email address??  Was it a new account or something??

It just seems fishy to me, seems like an attempt to takeover an account cause you found out the answer to someones question and got their machine somehow or something.
