O.P. Auto Accept Contacts
I know you can auto accept file transfers and web cam requests but is there anyway in MSGPlus to automatically accept contact list additions? (If someone adds me to their contact list, I get notified and asked if I want to add them)

No....

----

But you can disable the showing of the popup and allowing everybody to add you to their contact list. However, this also will not add those people automatically to your own contact list.

This option can be found in the Messenger options:
Tools  > Options > Privacy > Only people in my allow list can see my status and send messages

If you disable that, then everybody will be able to add you, see your status and start chatting with you without you seeing any popup.
But as said, they will not be added to your contactlist automatically though! So I actually do not suggest to turn that (security) option off.

I'm aware of the allow everyone to see me option but it's not what I'm looking for.

Possibly a suggestion for a future version? Or maybe an addition in MSGPlus scripting?

I highly doubt something like this is going to be added directly in Plus! since it actually is something which only a very few people want to do (as it is a very big security/privacy risk).

Sorry for the late response. (Holidays)

But have you ever considered auto accepting files (Viruses) to be a security risk.

To me auto accepting contacts is very useful, especially for script developers.

Only if you run them without scanning them... Adding people means bots can send out your email to hundreds/thousands of spammers

But most people have SPAM protection. How would these bots even get your email, just add thousands of random hotmail addresses? You might as well be sending random SPAM messages to all hotmail addresses since that's more effective. Plus MSN usually blocks bots if you report it.

All I'm asking for is an addition the the MSGPlus scripting language so I may temporarily enable and disable this feature easily or set it to certain times during the day.
